Weipa. Eight days and seven nights fishing, all in comfort aboard the mother ship ‘Eclipse’.
Having made plenty of trips to Weipa hiring small boats each day and cooking for yourself, Ed has vowed to never do that again. Too much of the valuable fishing time is taken up in travelling, sometimes in inclement weather, and relaxing after a days fishing had to wait until the boats were cleaned and meals bought and cooked.
The lads on board the ‘Eclipse’ look after all of that, and travel time from mother ship to first cast need only be 5 minutes! When you are travelling that far, on a trip that you may only do once in a lifetime, you have to make the most of it.
The ‘Eclipse’
will have you sitting at the mouth of an estuary system that rarely, if ever,
gets fished more than once a year – no roads and too far for a trailer
boat to fish! Start planning now for your turn at the trip of a lifetime.
A few places
are available for the second trip happening in October. Speak to Ed for details.
