THANKS

Firstly - the last thunderstorm fried the modem on the web computer, so this report is just a patch until we get things fixed. (2 hours+ on the phone to India... Oh Joy!)

Until then I hope you enjoy this sneak preview to The Fishing DVD #18 that will be in the shop on the 1st of March. This clip represents some invaluable information for catching jewfish with CONSISTANCY.

John Haenke - camera man and producer of the The Fishing DVD and the Wildfish series, reckons this is one of the hottest estuary segments that he has ever filmed.
John Puts this down to the fact that the fisheries of NSW are properly managed, and are funded by the NSW Recreational Licence scheme. The money has gone into restocking, habitat clean up and buy outs of commercial ventures. Makes you think doesn't it?

RECREATIONAL FISHING UNDER THREAT

Did you know that the Federal Government is currently being lobbied by a range of organisations to prevent you fishing in certain areas (affecting all states) and for certain species? And did you know that the government is listening to these organisations and doing what they've been asked?

It is now time for us to start asking for things too before our way of life is completely eradicated.

By emailing this letter to the Prime Minister's office, you will be letting them know that you are a recreational angler, actively interested in how our fisheries resources are managed and willing to hold government accountable for their decisions.

The whole process takes less than one minute. It seems like a good investment for your fishing future.
