Here we are
in the on line room of Hooked on Angling and Outdoors.
Since we designed this ourselves, and we don't take
ourselves too seriously, what you see is what you get.
The whole look of this site will change from time to
time as we adjust things and get it comfortable, so
bear with us. For those of you
who are expecting to be impressed, BE IMPRESSED! The
fact that we are on the web impresses us! Relax, we
are serious about about a few things, like fishing,
bikes, FLIES for fishing, customer service and a good
meal at the local club.
Any spelling mistakes are due to the
keys on the keyboard moving during typing, not due to
the illiteracy of those sitting on this side of the
computer.
One of our aims is to have pictures
of YOU on here with fish that you have caught, or places
You have been to on your bike, so that you can brag
to your friends that YOU are on the WEB! WOOHOO!!!!
Yep, why not. We also plan to keep you up to date with
what is going on in our region and the close surrounds
in the way of fishing, and some of the latest products
and deals for bikes and fishing alike.
This is probably the one and only
time I will be allowed to write on this web site so
I am going to make the most of it before my finger cramps
up. The yobs (bloody keys) boys in
the shop are a good lot. Customer service is something
that they really understand. Keeping it brief, and just
to point out one thing in particular that sets these
fools (keys
again!) fellows
apart from the rest is their customer card system. Big
advantage to all of you who enjoy your fishing and riding.
It works like a 'fly buys' system without the hassles
of time limits and taxes. Points are mathematically
worked out (they
like to wear thongs so they can see their toes)
per purchase and rewards in real dollar value items
of your choice can be claimed at any time. They did
explain it to me in great detail, but that is the guts
of it.My finger is starting to protest so if you want
further detail, pop in and ask them.
